Railway Recruitment Examination 2018: Learn how to finalize the 90,000 posts of Group D and Group C
 
Railway Recruitment 2018 RRB 90000 vacancy - The period of application for 90 thousand recruits out of Railways has ended. The last date for applying is March 31 which has passed out. Nearly three million youth have applied for this bumpers vacancy. It is obvious that applying so many more candidates has made the competition even more difficult. This is the biggest recruitment process of the railway so far. Railways recruitment boards have recruited 260502 posts of Group C (Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician) and 62907 posts of Group D (Gangman, Khalasi, Getman, Pointman, etc.). Now it is time to make strategies about preparation. But before preparing, the whole selection process should also be known. The candidate should know about how many stops he has to cross his goal. Here we will understand the same stages of the examination through which the candidate will have to pass. So know the complete selection process of the exam -

How to choose from for Group D
There will be three stages for this post - 1. CBT (Computer Based Test) 2. PET (Physical Efficiency Test). 3. Document Verification

1. 100 questions will be asked in the first computer-based test. Candidates will get 90 minutes to take the exam. The qualifying percentage for different categories will be different. For the unreserved category, it has been fixed as 40 percent, 30 percent for OBC category, 30 percent for SC category and 30 percent for ST category.

2. On the basis of merit of Computer Based Test, candidates will be called for PET (Physical Efficiency Test) (twice the number of total vacancies). Only qualification in this test will be necessary. It will not have any role in deciding final merit.

3. Those qualifying in PET will be called for document verification based on performance in computer based test.

For Group C (Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician), this will be the selection
These steps will be in the entire selection process - 1. First stage CBT (Computer Based Test), 2. Second stage CBT, 3. Computer Based Aptitude Test and 4. Document Verification.

Two stage exams (first stage CBT and second stage CBT) will be common for recruitments on ALP and technician positions. Only successful candidates will be called for second stage CBT in First Stage CBT. Candidates who have applied for Assistant Loco Pilot have to give computer based Aptitude Test (AT) after passing second stage CBT.
